If you have a specific concern—whether it’s stress, anxiety, recovery, or simply the need for a moment of peace—I’ll tailor your Reiki session to meet your unique needs.

Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive healing practice that supports balance in the body, mind, and emotions. It is considered a form of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) and is often used alongside traditional medical or therapeutic care. Reiki is not tied to any religion or belief system—it is accessible to everyone. 


Distance Reiki works the same way as in-person Reiki, but it is shared remotely. Energy is not limited by time or space, which means you can receive Reiki no matter where you are. Many clients report the same deep sense of calm, clarity, and balance as they would during an in-person session—sometimes even more, since they’re in the comfort of their own home. 


Sessions are held primarily over Zoom. Each 60-minute session includes:

  • 10–15 minutes intake (to discuss your needs and intentions)
     
  • 35–40 minutes Reiki session (you relax in a comfortable space while I facilitate Reiki remotely)
     
  • 10–15 minutes debrief (to reflect on your experience and offer integration suggestions)
     

If you prefer, we can also connect by phone or, for a more flexible option, through email (you share your intentions in advance, I conduct the session at the scheduled time, and then I send you written notes afterward).


To get the most out of Reiki, I recommend:

  • Choosing a quiet, comfortable space where you won’t be disturbed.
     
  • Lying down or sitting in a relaxed position (bed, couch, recliner, or yoga mat).
     
  • Drinking plenty of water in the days leading up to and following your session.
     
  • Being sober for at least 48 hours before your session, so your body and mind can fully receive the experience.


One session can be helpful, but I have found that three sessions is often the magic number for clients to experience the most noticeable shifts. After that, many choose to continue with Reiki as ongoing maintenance—weekly, monthly, or simply whenever they feel the need for balance and support. 


That’s completely okay. Some people experience warmth, tingling, or waves of relaxation, while others simply feel calmer and more grounded afterward. Reiki is still working, even if the experience feels subtle. 


Reiki does not diagnose or treat medical conditions, but it can support you in many areas, including stress, anxiety, emotional balance, recovery, sleep, grief, and more. Each session is personalized to your unique intentions. 


Give yourself time to integrate—drink water, rest if you need to, and notice how you feel in the hours or days afterward. Journaling or quiet reflection can also help deepen the benefits. 


No. Reiki is not dependent on belief. You only need to be open to the experience. Many clients who identify as skeptical still find the sessions relaxing and supportive.
